They didn't realize they were on the Dragon, so we gave them a run they'll probably never forget! Poindexter > Dragon Ball Run Sep 21-24, 2006 photo

Poindexter > Put some miles on the Cayman for the Dragon. Those stats include the drive from Virginia Beach to Staunton, VA to Alcoa, TN to Fontana, NC. I hit stand-still traffic a few times, and coming back from NC some serious rain that put us down to a 2nd gear crawl through the mountains. And oh yeah, a few runs up to 157 MPH on 81 when traffic permitted.

Poindexter > Because I was going to be on 81 (behind many truckers) for a few hundred miles I decided to tape up the front end of my 3 week old Cayman. On previous trips down 81 my old S2000's front end was chewed up. This photo was taken by Killboy on the Dragon - this was my first run with the Cayman.

Poindexter > Sitting at the look-out on the Dragon about 3 miles in from the TN side.

Poindexter > SlowS2K and another Spa Yellow buddy coming into the lookout.

Poindexter > Import Sport with +1 coming into the look out. My two most fun "S2000 following" runs were while I was following Jason (Import Sport) and then a night run following Kevin (NO S8NT).

Poindexter > While coming home from Fontana, NC we decided to run the whole way through North Carolina and then drive through Virginia on 58. Around Franklin we came across an interesting thunder storm that looked like it was going to turn into a tornado. I had to get a picture.....or 40. The next 4 pictures are just a small sampling of a few of the shots I took.
